All iam qualifications are designed to be studied in a flexible manner, to suit the needs of today's working student. Individuals may attend colleges and other institutions, or private sector training organisations, or study by a structured programme of tutor supported open learning. Assessment for this qualification is in two parts:
1. Creation of a reflective learning diary related to the learning outcomes of each Unit that records evidence of skills for employment as well as academic achievements
2. Project Report of between 2,000 and 2,500 words, which must show the application of learning from the programme syllabus and achievement of the overall Award learning outcomes
dyplom Assessment
Units 1 - 4 are assessed by a three hour unseen written paper comprising two sections A and B.
Section A has eight compulsory short answer questions designed to test candidates' knowledge and understanding of concepts and terminology.
Section B has a choice of two questions from four designed to assess the candidate's appreciation of the unit. A question will be set from each area of the learning Syllabus.
Unit 5 is assessed either by a three hour case study exam, or by a 3,000 - 4,000 word work based project report.
dyplom zaawansowany Assessment
Units 1 - 4 are assessed by a three hour unseen written paper comprising of a choice of 4 questions from 8, designed to assess the depth and breadth of candidates' knowledge of the unit.
Unit 5 is assessed either by a three hour case study exam, or by a 3,000 - 4,000 word work based project report .
BA(Hons) Degree Assessment
The content and assessment of the new BA (Hons) degree programme is currently being finalised. The current programme's assessment methods are listed below. Please be aware that this may be subject to change. For more information on the development of the new programme please click here.
The degree involves taking three compulsory modules, one option module and a dissertation. Each of the four modules is assessed by a three hour examination.
The dissertation is a major piece of independent work researching an approved topic in depth. The final submission should be 11,700 - 13,000 words in length.
The pass mark for all modules and the dissertation is 40%.
